  Death of Mary Hoggarth The death occurred at her home at Wolverton Station this (Wednesday) morning of Mary Melvin, widow of the late James Hoggarth, in her 78th year. She had been ailing for some time and her demise was not unexpected. Deceased had been a resident of the Wolverton district for some 40 years. During a previous marriage, she resided at Thorold for several years. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: William Robertson, Port Colborne; Fred. Poehlrnan, Thorold; Mrs. Fred. Barlow, Buffalo, and Mrs. George Hamilton, at home. Two brothers and two sisters also survive, viz.: David Melvin, St. Thomas; Albert Melvin, Ayr; Mrs. Jen Anderson, Beachville, and Mrs. Sara Macdonald, Brantford. The funeral will take place from the home of her son-in-law, George Hamilton, Wolverton, on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment being made In Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Dec 8 1938 pg 5
