  One of the oldest residents of North Dumfries, in the person of John Davison, passed away on Saturday evening, in his 93rd year. He farmed in Blenheim Township for many years, retiring 23 years. For the past 12 years he lived close to Galt. Deceased was an Englishman and a Methodist. His remains were interred in the Ayr cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. The Ayr News Nov 22 1923 pg 8
