  Buried in Ayr Cemetery The death occurred suddenly on Monday, Feb. 29, of James Kingsburgh, B.A., at his home in Maple, Ontario. He was the elder son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Kingsburgh, residents of South Dumfries, and received his secondary education at Paris High School. After taking his university degree, Mr. Kingsburgh returned to Paris in 1925 to teach English at the High School, remaining two years. Following his marriage to Miss Jean Gregory of Paris, he moved to Toronto, where he taught at Northern Vocational. The late Mr. Kingsburgh was a veteran of the First Great War, serving with the 43rd Battery in the Canadian Field Artillery. Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Harold Smith (Janet) of Boston, Mass., and two granddaughters. A daughter Elizabeth predeceased him. A brother, Gordon, also survives. Funeral service was held Thursday at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Toronto, and interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Mar 10 1960 pg 5
