  Mrs. Anna M. Cairns The death occurred suddenly on Thursday at the home of Alex Harrison, Mitchell street, of Mrs. Anna M. Cairns, a resident of this village for several years. She was in her 59th year Born in Beverly Township, the former Anna M. Kraeger, she had lived all her life in this district. She was an adherent of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wilbert Bechtel (Velma) of New Dundee and Hazel Cairns of Hamilton; two brothers, Francis Kraeger of Galt and Stanley Kraeger of Burford; a sister, Mrs. William Common of Galt, and three grandchildren. The funeral was held on Saturday from the W. R. Coutts Funeral Home, Galt, the service being conducted by Rev. C. D. Farris of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Galt. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Thomas Currie, Erie Currie, Gordon Phillips, Howard Kraeger, Alex McLeod and Alex Harrison. The Ayr News Dec 22 1955 pg 3
