  SPRINGALL, Christine Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Hallman) Peacefully, at Golden Dawn Seniors Home, Lion's Head, on Sunday, July 4, 2010, formerly of Ayr. Betty was born in 1931 to the late Harve and Phyllis (nee Bricker) Hallman. Beloved wife to Bernard J. Springall; loved "ma" to James (Pamela), Doug (Cindy), Gord (Michaela), Rolie, and Lorie (Sharon); cherished grandma to eleven grandchildren and one great- grandchild; dear sister to Joe Hallman (Audrey) and sister-in-law to Ruth Hallman. Predeceased by a brother Jack. Betty organized and started the game of ringette for girls in Ayr in 1970, and she was instrumental in girls softball in Ayr. Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home , 183 Northumberland St., Ayr, on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 1: 00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Beamer officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, SPCA, or Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
