    • Death of Mrs. Ellery Hawes

      The local undertaker was exceptionally busy on Monday, having some three or four cases to handle. Among those contributing to this number was Mrs. Ellery Hawes, who passed away after a short illness from pneumonia, super-induced by Spanish Influenza. The deceased, whose maiden name was Louise Poll, was in her 38th year. Before her marriage some ten years ago she resided at Mannheim. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Besides her husband she leaves a family of three daughters, the eldest four years and the youngest two months. Mrs. Hawes has sincere sympathy n his sad bereavement.
