  George Myke Passes The death occurred in Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, April 15th of George P. Myke, a resident of Brucefield Manor, Mt. Pleasant. He was in his 81st year. Born in Ohsweken, Mr. Myke resided in the Brantford area most of his life. He farmed and later worked at Cockshutt in Brantford. In the 1950's he resided in Ayr and constructed the two homes on upper Swan Street now owned by the Koster and Pavao families. Surviving are five children and two step-daughters, Mrs. Henry (Pauline) Iles of Ayr and Mrs. Alice Hooton of Brantford. Funeral service was held in Brantford on Saturday with interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News 22 Apr 1976 pg 9
