  Mrs. Alfred J. Wright Passes The death occurred at her residence in Islington on Wednesday, following a brief illness, of Mrs. Alfred J. Wright, aged 71 years. Born in Blenheim Township on the farm now operated by her nephew, John Hall, she was the former Agnes Hall, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hall. She lived with her husband and family in Ayr for some years prior to World War II. She moved to Toronto 25 years ago with her husband, whom she married while he was serving in the armed forces during the first world war. The late Mrs. Wright was a member of Knox United Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are four sons, Norman of Lorne Park, Bruce of Milton, David of Toronto and Eric in South Carolina; a brother, David of Plattsville, and a sister, Mrs. David (Margaret) McDonald of New Dundee. Seven grandchildren also survive. The Funeral Funeral service was held at Islington on Friday, with interment in Ayr Cemetery on Saturday. The Ayr News Mar 9 1961 pg 8
