  Albert G. Ritchie Passes The death occurred early Saturday morning at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Perriman, of a well-known district farmer, Albert George Ritchie, in his 71st year. The late Mr. Ritchie was born on the family homestead on the Greenfield Road in North, Dumfries, a son of the late Robert Ritchie and his wife, Janet Renwick. He spent all his life on his farm within sight of his birthplace. The late Mr. Ritchie was a Presbyterian by faith. Surviving are his wife the former Jennie Estelle Veitch, a daughter, Mrs. Norman Perriman (Eleanor), Ayr; two brothers, William of Ayr and Thomas of RR 2 Paris; three grandchildren, Mary Louise, Albert William and Leslie Bruce. He was predeceased some years ago by a sister Mrs. Jack Adams (Mary). The Funeral Funeral service was held on Monday at Little's Funeral Home, Galt, conducted by Rev. W. J. V. Buchanan. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The pallbearers were. Robert Barrie, Robert McLeod, Marshall Ritchie, William J. Perriman, James C. Swan and Henry Wolfe, all of Ayr and district.
