  Mrs. Edith Ennis Mrs. Edith Ennis passed away on Thursday, October 6, 1988 at Hilldale Manor, Oshawa. She was in her 87th year. She was the former Edith Loveridge. Mr. and Mrs. Ennis resided for many years at the corner of William and Church Streets in Ayr. Beloved wife of the late John Edgar Ennis. Loving mother of Mrs. Frank Starkey (Dorothy) of Oshawa. Fondly remembered by 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mrs. Emana Sharland of Paris, Mrs. Elsie Wrenshall of Barrie and Mrs. Lorraine Davies of Oshawa and the late Albert Loveridge. Funeral service was held at the McIntosh-Anderson Chapel, 152 King St. E., Oshawa on Saturday, October 8, 1988 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News 12 Oct 1988 pg 13
