  Hubert C. Pitcher Hubert (Hugh) Clifford Pitcher of Marlborough Street East, Leamington, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 1995. He was 79. Born in Ayr, he was a son of the late Henry Hubert Pitcher and Alice Kate Haines. Mr. Pitcher was a long time employee of Loblaws and during his career oversaw the opening of stores in Brantford, Tillsonburg, Ingersoll and Leamington. He retired as manager of Loblaws, Leamington. Mr. Pitcher was a member of the Leamington Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #290, Fast President of the Rotary Club of Leamington 1961-62, Leamington Half Century Club and the Brotherhood of Anglican Church Men, Leamington. Beloved husband of Jean Wright.. Dear brother of George Pitcher, Kitchener. Predeceased by one brother Jim. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Rested at the Leslie R. Dutot Funeral Home, Leamington. Funeral service was held on Friday, September 22, 1995 at St. John's Anglican Church, Leamington. Interment Ayr Cemetery, Ayr. Ayr News 27 Sep 1995 pg 14
