  Leonard Albert Hooton passed away at Willett Hospital, Paris, on Sunday, August 29th, 2004. He was in his 76th year. Born in Galt, he was a son of the late Reginald Hooton and Sadie Walton. Its his youth, Len was a noted athlete, excelling in hockey and softball. A retired truck driver, in recent years he made deliveries for local fast food outlets. Dear husband of Janet Pearce; dear father of Bruce and Patricia of Ayr, Penny and Cathy; step-father of Susan, Derek, Robert and Peter. Loved grandfather of many. Predeceased by his sister Evelyn Cromwell. Friends were received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, on Tuesday, August 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be held with Rev. France Ouimet-Wilson officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
