  Dana McConnell Robert Dana McConnell lived for his family. He peacefully passed on Friday, December 28th, 2001 at the age of 42 years at his home in Ayr, Surrounded with the love of his wife Sandra, his four children, Brieanne, Jilaine, Graedon, Brennan and his parents Bob and Lenore (Guelph). Beloved brother of Lori (Kitchener), Wendy (Guelph), Jane and John DeCorso (Guelph), Dianne and Tim McCoy (Ottawa). Dear son-in-law of Marie and the late Ross Ayles (March 7, 2001) and brother-in-law of Deeane and Barry Poyntz (Oakville), Brian and Maria Ayles (Cambridge). Will be sadly missed by the many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Although his life was too soon cut short, the profound impact and wonderful memories left in his wake will be everlasting. Dana is now at peace yet will live on forever through his family, for a heart so valiant and genuine will never die. Dana was born in Ajax and raised in Guelph. He was employed with Cadbury Trebor Allen, Inc., Burlington. A popular member of the Ayr sporting fraternity, he played with the Jedburgh Old Timers hockey team and had coached minor hockey, ringette and ball in the village. Rested at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, where a memorial service was held Sunday evening. Rev. Bob Schroeder officiated. Cremation. The Ayr News 2 Jan 2002 pg 10
