  Death of Former Resident of Ayr The death took place at the Galt Hospital on Friday afternoon of Ald. William Stuart, a former resident of Ayr, and employee of the Greenfield mills. His death was due to a severe attack of pleuro-pneumonia. The deceased was a brother-in-law of Messrs. Robert and David Cuthbertson and a cousin of Mrs. Finlayson and Mrs. McHutchin, all of Ayr. His wife, Agnes Cuthbertson, predecease him 13 years. Two sons, John of Galt and George of Detroit, survive. The funeral took place Monday on the arrival of the 4:20 p.m. train, interment being made in the Ayr cemetery. The pall bearers were fellow members of the Galt Council, and the services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Strachan, pastor of the Baptist Church, Galt.
