      The funeral of the late Miss Emma I. Stuart, who passed away in Guelph Hospital on Saturday, took place from Galt on Monday, with interment in Ayr Cemetery. Rev. A. B. Thomas officiated, and the pallbearers were four nephews: G. C. Stuart, Ronald Stuart, Dr. L. M. Stuart and J. P. Stuart. Born at Lambton Mills, a daughter of John and Jane Stuart, she passed her early life in Ayr. She will be well remembered by many persons in this village, where she was employed for many years in the tailoring establishment of the late Walter Willison.
