  Death of Mrs. (Rev.) Hardie - The death took place on Sunday morning, at the Ashfield manse, of M. A. Hardie, beloved wife of Rev. J. S. Hardie, formerly of Ayr. Service was held at the Ashfield Church on Tuesday afternoon, after which burial was made at Ayr on the arrival of the C. P. R. morning train from the East. Mr. Hardie was pastor of Stanley St Church, prior to Rev. Mr. Nixon, and left here about 3 or 4 years ago. The Ayr News Jul 17 1924 pg 8
