    • Ann Maus of RR 3, Ayr, passed away peacefully at Telfer Place, Paris on Friday, April 6th, 2001. She was in her 74th year. Born in Paris, she was a daughter of the late Hazel Maude Brown and George Hamilton. Ann was employed as a real estate agent and broker in the Brantford and Kitchener areas and at one time had an office in Ayr. She was co-owner of Beechwood and Westgate Travel. She was a long-time member of Knox United Church, Ayr. She is survived by her husband Douglas; four sons, Bill and his wife Norma of Paris, Jim and his wife Kristina of Paisley, Don of Paris and Jairus of Cambridge; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Murray Hamilton and his wife Martha of Thunder Bay, Edgar Hamilton and his wife Gertrude of Mississauga; her sister Bea and her husband Roy Cranston of Brantford and sister-in-law Helen Hamilton of Paris; she is also survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Allan. Friends were received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home then to Knox United Church where funeral service was held on Monday, April 9th at 1: 30 p.m. Rev. Fred Nagle officiated. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
