- Christina Lorene McLaren
Christina Lorene McLaren passed away at Freeport Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, February 26th, 1998. Mrs. McLaren had recently moved to Kitchener after having spent many years in Drumbo and Paris areas. She was in her 78th year. She was born in Blenheim Township, the daughter of Herbert Cross and Cassie Stringham. Loving wife of Alex McLaren of Kitchener. Dear mother of Mary McLaren of Ottawa and Margaret and her husband George Borenovich of Kitchener. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Aldan, Marc, Siobhan and Stuart. Sister of Bert Cross and wife Katie of Bracebridge and Viola and her husband Willard Tottle of Brantford. Lorene was a member of Willis United Church, Drumbo, a member of the U.C.W. of the church and a mem-ber of the Moyle Women's Institute. Visitation was held at the Glendinning Funeral Home in Plattsville on Sunday, with transfer to the Willis United Church where funeral service was held Monday, March 2nd. Rev. Carol Ferguson-Kirby officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
