  Robert Armstrong Passes Robert W. Armstrong, 52, of 122 Silver St.. Paris, died at his home on Thursday. Mr. Armstrong was the son of John E. Armstrong and the late Edith Foreman Armstrong. He was born in Ayr and lived most of his life here, moving to Paris four years ago. He had been employed at Moffats Catering Service of Galt. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Paris. Mr. Armstrong is survived by his wife, the former Violet Sault; daughter, Mrs. Rufus (Audrey) Knechtel of Ayr: son, Kenneth of Paris; father, John Armstrong of Ayr; sister, Mrs. Henry (Agnes) McLelland of Paris. Funeral service was held at the William Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, on Monday. conducted by Peter McHutchion of Kingdom Hall. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News 26 Oct 1967 pg 7
