Notes - Mrs. Norman W. Dance, passed away at her home, Market Street, Paris, on Friday, October 23, 1981. Born in Cargill, Ontario she was the former Margaret Lucy Hood, daughter of the late Thomas Hood and LaDorna Dack. In 1921 she moved to Paris and was employed at Penman's. After her marriage to Norman Dance in 1932, the couple resided in Ayr for many years until moving back to Paris 36 years ago. Mrs. Dance was a member of the Paris Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Guild, and was a choir member for many years. She was also a member of the Paris 3-H Club. Dearly beloved wife of Nor man W. Dance and dear mother of Mrs. George (Carolyn) Rapp of Bramalea and the late Donna Bryant: loving grandmother of five grandchildren; dear sister of Miss Irene Hood and Mrs. Fred (Elsie) Dobbin, both of Paris; Mrs. Elliott (Anna) Pinnell of Ridgetown and William Hood of Windsor; also predeceased by two sisters and a brother. Funeral service was held at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris on Monday, October 26th. Interment in Paris Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews: Don Dance, Glenn Dance, both of Ayr: Dave Gibson, Rochester; Bill Hood, Windsor; Jim Dobbin, Brantford; and Ken Campbell, London.
