      ______________

      BARBER SHOP SOLD.

Mr. Jacob Brandt, who has conducted a barber shop in Waterloo for the past fourteen years, has sold out to Mr. Emil Engel, of Waterloo, an em ploye of Mr. Brandt. The deal took place Tuesday and the new proprietor took possession Wednesday morning. Mr. Brandt has not definitely decided what he will do. Jake's many friends will miss his genial presence very much at the old stand but will be glad to know that he has a worthy successor in Mr. Engel. The new proprietor has been with Mr. Brandt for the past seven years. and during that time has made himself exceedingly popular with the general public. As a tonsorial artist Mr. Engel's ability is too well known to comment on, and the many patrons can rely on receiving the most courteous treatment at his shaving parlor. His many friends will wish him every success.
