Forler, 95 Shanley St., Kitchener at three o'clock this morning, in the person of Emil Engel, son of Mr. John Engel, of Waterloo. The late Mr. Engel who was in his 36th year carried on the business or barber for five years in Waterloo, the business being taken over by his brother three years ago. He took a keen interest in bowling and other sports and was for a number of years a popular member of the Waterloo Board. He enjoyed a large acquaintanceship and many friends among whom he was much esteemed who will mourn his death.

______________
BARBER SHOP SOLD.
Mr. Jacob Brandt, who has conducted a barber shop in Waterloo for the past fourteen years, has sold out to Mr. Emil Engel, of Waterloo, an em ploye of Mr. Brandt. The deal took place Tuesday and the new proprietor took possession Wednesday morning. Mr. Brandt has not definitely decided what he will do. Jake's many friends will miss his genial presence very much at the old stand but will be glad to know that he has a worthy successor in Mr. Engel. The new proprietor has been with Mr. Brandt for the past seven years. and during that time has made himself exceedingly popular with the general public. As a tonsorial artist Mr. Engel's ability is too well known to comment on, and the many patrons can rely on receiving the most courteous treatment at his shaving parlor. His many friends will wish him every success.
