  The funeral of the late Jonas Snider, former resident of the Plattsville district, whose death occurred in Brantford General Hospital, was held Tuesday. Mr. Snider passed away after a week's illness following a heart attack, in his 87th year, Born on Sept.20th, 1853, in Baden, he married Lydia Bock, in 1877. Surviving are two sons, Wesley and Norman both of Brantford, four daughters Mrs. Walter Smith, Platteville, Mrs. Rose Hawkins, Brantford, Mrs. ArchieOverholt, London, one brother, John Snider, Moorefield; 18 grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
