    • MRS. ALFRED FESSANT

      PRESTON, May 5 - Mr. Alfred Fessant passed away here today in her 74th year after an illness of three months. She was born in Preston and had lived here all her life. The late Mrs. Fessant was Barbara, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bezler, pioneers of Preston. Her second husband, the late Alfred Fessant, passed away some years ago. Surviving are four sons, George Doherty, Cornelius Doherty, both of the Prestonian staff in Preston, Clifford of Dundas and Lawrence of Preston, three sisters, Rose Bezler of Preston, Mrs. Victor Carnegie of Cainsville, Ohio and Mrs. Victor Carnegie of Clear Lake, South Dakota. The funeral will be held Saturday morning, at nine o'clock from the Pass and Barber Funeral Home to St. Clement's church and thence to the R.C. cemetery.
