    • A marriage of local interest was solemnized at Olivet Evangelical Church, Kitchener, at high noon on Wednesday, August 2nd, when Margaret Eva Myer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pletch of Sebringville and Mr. George T. Hosie of Cornwall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Hosie of Perth, Ont., plighted their troth. Mr. Hosie is a former principal of the New Hamburg Continuation School, and his bride is a former teacher of the local continuation school staff.

      The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. H. Cornwell and the bride was attended by Miss Margaret Tufford of Beamsville. Mr. Hubert Hosie of Perth was the groomsman.

      After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the Old Mill, Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. Hosie will reside at Stratford where Mr. Hosie has accepted a position in the Collegiate Institute.
