  • Notes
    • Gord passed away peacefully at his home in Trinity Village Care Centre on November 5, 2011. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy, a son Wayne and a grandson, Gregory, both in infancy and his two sisters, Lavina Walker and Helen Doerner. He is survived by his son, Glen (Gwen) of Peterborough and daughters, Paige Kraft and Heather (Richard) Setka both of Kitchener. He was a loving, wonderful grandpa to 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Gord was a proud father, a veteran of WWII and a loyal member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church where he served on the church council and ushered until the age of 90. He was a long-time employee of Orr Automobiles/Stedelbauers. He will be missed very much by his family and friends. Special thanks to all the Recreation staff, the Oakridge nursing staff and all others at Trinity Village Care Centre. You made his time there happy. We will all miss his many stories.
