      PRESTON David Hastings Nickason, 71, of 753 King St.., died. suddenly of a heart attack at work this morning. Native of Mount Forest, he was a cabinet maker, came to Preston in 1911 and was employed by the Preston Furniture Company since that time.

      Mr. Nickason attended Preston Baptist Church, was member of the Barace. Bible class, was active in the Preston Lawn Bowling Association, and at one time belonged to the Canadian Order of Foresters.

      His wife, Myrtle May Baker, died in 1945. Survivors include a son, John, Sault Ste. Marie; two daughters, Mrs. L. (Marion) Dickinson, Windsor and Mrs. A. (Grace) Schaefer, Kitchener; a brother, William, Toronto, a sister, Mrs. M. Kilby, Toronto and one grandchild.

      The body will be at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home until Friday. The funeral will be from there at 2:30 p.m., to Preston Cemetery. Rev. J. C. Williamson is to officiate.
