  WISMER, Norman O. Of 407 Laurel St., Cambridge, on Friday, June l8, 1982, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Eleanor Ranscombe; dear step-father of James Ranscombe of Toronto, Eleanor (Mrs. Robert Rumley of Mississauga, Betty (Mrs. Jack Barnes) of Cambridge, Linda (Mrs. Larry Miske) of Desboro. Also survived by one sister, Mrs. Clarice Wankel of London, Ont. and six step-grandchildren. Mr. Wismer was predeceased by his first wife, Marguerite MacPhail in 1971. A resident of Cambridge for 64 years from Saskatchewan; retired from Babcock and Wilcox Canada Ltd. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9, Funeral service at the funeral home an Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Preston cemetery.
