  Mrs. Thomas Ballantine PRESTON - Mrs. Thomas Ballantine, 92, of 396 Laurel St., Preston, died Sunday at Coutts Pavilion, Freeport. Mrs. Ballantine was the former Mary Jane Irving and was born at Maxwell, Grey County. She resided in Preston for 69 years and also lived in Guelph, Markdale and Galt. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, an honorary member of the Women's Missionary Society and a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She was also a member of the local IODE chapter. Her husband died in 1963 and a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mabel) Love, died in 1954. Surviving are a brother, Albert of Manitou, Man two grandsons and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Cemetery. Rev A H.
