  MRS. CHARLES E. YATES PRESTON, Sept. 7 A well-known Preston resident, Ida Agnes Andrich, widow of Charles E. Yates, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, early Sunday morning after an illness of three months. She was 73 years of age, Born in Elora, Mrs. Yates came to Preston 55 years ago and made her home here since that time, She was a member of St. Clement's R.C. Church, the Altar Society and the Catholic Women's League. Her husband predeceased her 32 years ago. Surviving are three sons, Fred and Elzear of Preston and Grosvenor of Detroit, one daughter, Mrs. C. N. Hill, of Preston, three brothers, Walter and Joseph, both of Portage La Prairie and Frank of Minedosa, Man. and two sisters, Sister M. Rock, of Kalamazoo, Mich., Sister M. Inez of Eaton Rapids, Mich. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. The remains are resting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hill, 546 Moore Street, Preston. Requiem high mass will be sung in St. Clement's R.C. Church on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the Preston cemetery. Kitchener Daily Record 7 Sep 1943 pg 15
