  Albert Mayer PRESTON— Albert Mayer, 68, life-long resident of Preston, died in hospital early today after a lengthy illness. He was a cabinet maker at Canadian Office and School Furniture Ltd., before he retired for health reasons. At one time he travelled throughout Canada installing fixtures for banks and offices for the company. He was a First World War veteran and a member of the Canadian Legion. Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Howard Homuth, Mrs. Kenneth Graham and Mrs. Ewald Murray, all of Preston. The body is at Stager-Pass Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will he in Preston Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 7 Sep 1955 pg 5
