      Description: Black and white, head and shoulders photograph of Private Louis Peter Steckenreiter in uniform.

      Notes: Private Steckenreiter served with the 50th Battalion. He was born on 9 April 1887 in Bridgeport, Ontario. He enlisted with the 128th Battalion in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in February 1916 and went overseas in August of the same year. He served in France in January 1917. He died at Vimy Ridge on 10 April 1917.
