      ELMIRA, Feb. 11—The death occurred here early Sunday morning, of Edward Faber, 14 King St., who passed away in the Misener Private Hospital. He was 84 years of age. Mr. Faber was a native of the Breslau district, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Faber. He had been a resident of this community since 1942 and was employed at the Naugatuck Chemical Co. plant as a carpenter. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. His first wife, the former Lucinda Miller of Wellesley, predeceased Mr. Faber in 1929. In 1931 he married Maletta Cress of Kitchener, who survives him. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Margaret) Weicker and Mrs. Robert (Elsie) Simpson, both of Kitchener; one step-son, Clayton Cress of Elmira; one sister, Mrs. Mary Hyatt of Southey, Sask.; and five brothers, Harry and George of Tavistock, Jacob of Kitchener, Joseph of British Columbia, and Barney of Philipsburg. The body is resting at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel, from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock with interment in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. The Rev. L. H. Kalbfleisch will officiate.
