  Found Suspended to a Tree Believed to Have Committed Suicide JOHN HAMM'S SAD EXIT (Special to NEWS-RECORD.) DOON, SEPT 30:-The lifeless body of John Hamm, 8r, was found hanging to a tree in Good's bush in this village last night at 11 o'clock. He was an old man, hard of hearing and lately not in good health. is generally believed that he committed suicide. No reason apparent. The tragedy has shocked the whole village. Ill health, loss of employment through old age and the illness of a son in Kansas, combined, are assigned as the causes which led to the commitment of the rash act.
