    • Mrs. Amelia Yates

      PRESTON - Mrs. Amelia Ann Yates, 81, died Monday at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. Daughter of William and Sophia Kistner, she was born at Speedsville, and lived in this district all her life. Her husband, Gladstone Burdette Yates, died in 1947. Mrs. Yates is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Erskine (Florence) Jardine, with whom she lived at 362 Laurel St., Preston and a brother, John Kistner, Kitchener. The funeral will be conducted at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home, Preston, at 2: 30 p.m. Thursday, with interment in Preston Cemetery. Rev. R. A. Jackson, Galt, will officiate.
