  SNYDER Lorne James Peacefully and surrounded by his family at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in his 84th year. Loving husband of Betty. Father of Robert (Suzanne) Snyder, Dr. Douglas (Eleanor) Snyder, and Gail (Paul) Norcott, and stepfather of Ronald (Mila) Wain and Gary Wain. Lorne will be sadly missed by his 15 grandchildren. Brother of Murray (Isabelle) Snyder, Betty (Earl) Bauman. Also missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Ellen (nee Jantzie), 1989. Lorne was a loyal employee of the City of Kitchener for 36 years. Faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Missionary Church. He will be forever remembered for his love of family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Robert Ruggle Funeral Home, 617 King St. N., Waterloo on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service celebrating Lorne's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery.
