  HEROLD, Howard Edwin Of Route 1, Shakespeare, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 1974 at Stratford General Hospital, where he has been a patient for several months. He was born in North Easthope Township, 54 years ago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Herold. In 1944, he married Verna Mohr. Survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Herold of Tavistock; two sons, Harvey at home and Charles of Shakespeare; four daughters, Marjorie of Kingston, Dianne, Shirley and Janet, all at home; one sister, Wilma (Mrs. Arthur Hartung) of Milverton; one grandson also survives. He was predeceased by one son William. The late Mr. Herold will be resting at the Francis Funeral Home, Tavistock, after 2 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday, August 16 at 2: 30 p.m. Burial will follow in Lingelbach cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 14 Aug 1974 pg 35
