- Fred Walker
PRESTON-Fred Walker, 73, passed away in Kitchener, March 12, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. R. Bailey, Louisa street, in his 74th year. He had been ill for some time. Born in England, Mr. Walker came to Canada in 1910. For years he was the blacksmith at Clare Brothers' Preston plant. He attended the United church. He is survived by his wife one son, Fred Walker Jr., in Hamilton, one daughter, Mrs. Bailey, at whose home he died, and eight grandchildren.
