  MRS. JOHN McCONNELL The death of Susannah Dingman, widow of the late John McConnell, occurred Saturday, January 9th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Collins at Palmerston, in her 87th year, following a brief illness. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James Collins, Palmerston, Mrs. R. Shortte, Hamilton, Mrs. M. Jones, Preston and two sons, Ivan McConnell of Windsor and William McConnell of Kelvington, Sask. One son, John F. was killed in action, during the first world war. The late Mrs. McConnell lived in Preston, for 25 years. Her husband predeceased her 12 years ago, after which she left town to live with her daughter, at Palmerston. While in Preston she was a member of Knox Presbyterian church, from where the funeral service will be held on, Tuesday afternoon, at three o'clock. Interment will be in Preston cemetery.
