- FREDERICK G. LANGRIDGE
PRESTON. Sept. 16--Ailing for several months, Frederick George Langridge, well-known district resident died at the K-W Hospital at 4 o'clock last evening. Mr. Langridge, through a lifetime of residence in this area had formed a large circle of friends. He was 64 years of age. Born in Blair, he operated a barber shop for many years in Preston on King Street, while lately he was employed at Otto Homuth and Sons Ltd. He was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters and was affiliated with the Church of England. In his younger days he was actively interested in sports, particularly baseball. His wife predeceased him ten years ago. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. W. L. Meyers and Mrs. H. Pratt, both of Vermont; three brothers, Thomas of Preston, Alex of Holland Landing and Harry at Vermont. The remains a resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held on Monday at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
