  MRS. JOHN FOSS PRESTON, Dec. 18— The death occurred at her home on the Kitchener highway on Saturday of Mrs. Martha Steinke Foss, 76, widow of the late John Foss. Born at Ladysmith, Que., Mrs. Foss was formerly of Massey, Ont., and had resided on the Kitchener highway for the past 30 years. The deceased had been ill for a short time. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Surviving are one son, Fred Foss at home and one daughter Mrs. P. Weichers of Kitchener. Her husband predeceased her seven years ago. Funeral service will take place at the residence on the Kitchener highway on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with interment in the Preston Cemetery. Kitchener Daily Record 18 Dec 1939 pg 13
