- Jacob F. Ewald
Jacob Frederick Ewald, 86, of 18 Menno St., Waterloo, died at the K-W Hospital yesterday. He was a native of Preston' but lived for some years in Caledon and Wiarton before moving to Waterloo.
Mr. Ewald attended St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo.
His wife, the former Caroline Buchey, predeceased him in 1935.
Surviving are one son, Sherwood J. Ewald of Kitchener; four brothers, Louis of Detroit, and Martin, William, and George, all of Preston, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry J. Schultz and Mrs. Thomas Murray, both of Preston. Four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren also survive.
Funeral will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Preston Cemetery: The Rev. A. L. Conrad will officiate. The body is resting at the funeral home.
