  Andrew Rahn Sr. Citizens of Preston were shocked to hear of the death this morning of Andrew Rahn, 73, at his home on Brown street. Death came very unexpectedly, as the deceased had been ill for only a few days. Pneumonia was the cause of death. Mr. Rahn was born in Germany, and has lived in town for many years, being a faithful employee of Clare Brothers. In religion, deceased was a devout member of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Besides his widow, the former Miss Otilla Gimbel, there survive one daughter, Mrs. Harry Blouse of Preston and one son Andrew of Detroit. The funeral will take place from his late residence on Thursday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. Rev. W. H. Knauff will officiate at the service. Interment will follow later in Preston Cemetery.
