    • Mrs. Leah Kraft Pfeiffer

      Death came unexpectedly at her home on Queen street yesterday afternoon to Leah Kraft, relict of the late Philip Pfeiffer, when she succumed to a stroke. Desceased was born 75 years ago in, Kitchener and upon her marriage to Mr. Pfeiffer at the ago of 21, came to Preston where she has resided ever since. In religion Mrs. Pfeiffer was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Surviving are nine children, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two brothers. The children are Mrs. W. Richards of Detroit, Mrs. William Laurison of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Mrs. Victor Norlich of Montreal, Mrs. M. Hummel and Miss Frieda Pfeiffer, all of town and brothers Dilman Kraft, town and August Kraft of Kitchener. Funeral services will be conducted from her late residence on Queen street, Saturday afternoon at four o'clock by Rev. W. H. Knauff, with Interment in Preston Cemetery.
