- MRS. ALICE LUDWIG
PRESTON, Jun, 6— Alice Cook, widow of Daniel Ludwig, died at the K-W Hospital at 7 o'clock this morning. In her 60th year, Mrs. Ludwig had been ailing for the past four years and seriously for the past three weeks. Well known in this district, where she spent her entire life, she was born in Waterloo Township and lived on a farm in the township on Breslau road, until 14 years ago, when she came to Preston, residing here since that time. She was a member of the Zion United Church. Her husband predeceued her seven years ago and she is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Clayton Hoffman, Preston, Mrs. Elton Moyer, Breslau road, Miss Mary Vickerman, Speedsville; four nephews, Harry and Lloyd Schnaeringer, Waterloo Township, Laverne Cook, Waterloo, and Pte. Walter Cook, London. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home until Friday at 10 am. when removal will be made to her residence, Kress Hill, Preston, for funeral on Saturday, at 3: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
