  HENRY HUGHES The funeral of Henry Hughes, who died at his home on Fountain street, Sunday morning at eight o'clock, was held at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon from the late residence. Interment was made in the Preston cemetery. Mr, Hughes, who was in his 47th year, was well known locally having resided here for the past 24 years. Up until the time of his illness he was in the employ of Clare Bros. of Preston. He was born in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, England and came to Canada when about 14 years of age, living for two years on a farm in Dumfries township. Surviving are his wife, his parents, Mr, and Mrs. Henry Hughes, Fountain street, five children, Henry, Esther, Mary, Patricia, and Evelyn, five sisters, Mrs. 0. Holt of London, Mrs. F. Husband of St. Catharines, Mrs. A. Leenhouts of New York, Mrs. E. Addis and Mrs. H. Antonow of Preston and one brother, Joseph of New York . Kitchener Daily Record 12 Jan 1932 pg 3
