- MRS. LOUISE EVERS
PRESTON, June 3— Illness of a week's duration culminated in the death at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at 8 o'clock last night of Louise Smith, wife of Louis Evers at the age of 59 years. She was taken to the hospital Friday morning. Born at Matlock, Derbyshire, England. Mrs. Evers came to Canada 37 years ago, directly to Preston, and has resided here since that time, forming a large circle of friends. She resided at 305 Guelph St. The deceased was a member of the Christian Science Church. Surviving is her husband; two daughters. Mrs. R. A. Paterson, Lindsay, Mrs. Arthur Burrell, Preston, two sons, Clifford Evers, US. Navy, Southwest Pacific, and Edward Evers of Guelph; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ellis; and one brother, Albert Smith, both of England. Five grandchildren also survive. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held on Monday at 1: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
