  MRS. AUGUST VONDRAU PRESTON. April 8 -- Ill for six months, Mrs. Katharine Brill Vondrau, age 75, died at her home, 917 King street, Preston, last night. Born in New Hamburg, she came to Preston immediately upon her marriage and had lived here for nearly 55 years. Deceased was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church, Preston and prominent in the Ladies' Aid Society. She is survived by her husband, August Vondrau, two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Schweitzer, Bridgeport and Mrs. Albert Morrison, King street east, Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. C. Hemmel, Stratford: by two brothers, Daniel, Detroit and John, Preston and by five grandchildren. Her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Brill, New Hamburg and three brothers predeceased her. Funeral services will be held from her late home at 2: 30 o'clock Saturday to Preston cemetery for burial. Kitchener Daily Record 8 Apr 1937 pg 15
