  William F. KressA former owner of the Kress Hotel in Preston, WilliamFrederick Kress, 88, of 700 Rockway Drive, died today, at his residence. Born April 14, 1871, in Preston,he was a son of the late Christopher Kress and his wife, the former Barbara Reichert. He was a member of Preston lodge, AF and AM. He was the last surviving member of his family. Surviving are a son, Wilbur of St. Thomas and a daughter, Mrs. G. H. K. (Mabel) Bingham of Kitchener. There also is one grandchild. His wife, the former Mary Jane Holland, predeceased him Oct. 17, 1958. The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Rev A. W.
