  Sanford Miller PRESTON - Sanford Miller, 54, of RR 2, Ayr, died today at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital after a two-week illness. Mr. Miller was born in North Dumfries Township and had resided there all his life. He was an engineer and had worked at P. W. Gardiner and Son Ltd., Galt. He was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, New Dundee. Surviving are his wife, the former Lois Holtzhauer, and five children, Robert, Walter, Donna, Kathleen and Nadine. Another daughter, Deborah, predeceased him three years ago, One sister, Mrs. Albert Affeldt of Preston; also survives. The body will he at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home where service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Rev.
