- MRS. MENNO L. WEBER
ST. JACOBS, May 3--The death of Mrs. Christina Weber, wife of Menno L. Weber, St. Jacobs merchant, occurred at her home early this morning. Mrs. Weber had suffered a stroke in January from which she never fully recovered. She was 83 years of age and would have observed her 84th birthday May 25. Mr. and Mrs. Weber celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary June I last year. Mrs. Weber was a member of Calvary Memorial church and of the Ladies' Aid Society. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Brubacher, Sunnyside, one sister, Mrs. Lydia Haist of Kitchener, two brothers, William Doerbecker of Kitchener, and Henry Doerbecker, Waterloo and ten grandchildren. One daughter predeceased her in 1910. The funeral will be held Wednesday with private service at the residence at 2 o'clock followed by public service at Calvary Evangelical church. Interment will take place in Calvary cemetery. Rev. J. B. Hatch will conduct the services. The remains will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel. Elmira, until 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon when they will be removed to the home.
